Men’s Ministry
Friendship plays a big role in deepening our Christian faith. We’re not meant to do it alone, and Scripture is full of examples of friendships: Joshua & Caleb, David & Jonathan, Jesus & the disciples.
The Men’s Ministry at Shallowford is a place for men to grow in their faith and in relationship with each other. Every event we have -- whether it’s a Bible study, monthly breakfast, or our annual retreat -- is intended to help the men grow together in faith and friendship. Join us at one of our events!
Bible Studies
Men’s Bible Studies are a time to study God’s word in community. Our summer Bible study starts on June 11 and will focus on a different classic Bible story each session.
These will be stand-alone discussions that don’t build on each other, so you can come as you are able without feeling like you’ve missed anything. No registration required.

Fellowship Breakfasts
Each month on the second Saturday, the men gather for breakfast and fellowship. Come eat some good food and have some good conversation!

David Ballagh
David is passionate about discipleship through Bible Study. He has a heart to see all people delighting in Scripture. David also enjoys biking and board games. He and his wife, Sarah, have two young daughters.
Lee Decker
Lee and his wife Lizzie own the Jackabee Candle Company, and Lee is a coffee master at Starbucks.
