Why give?
When your life is changed by Jesus, He leaves no stone unturned, no corner of your heart undiscovered. He wants all of you. This is what it means to be a disciple of Jesus: giving Jesus your whole life! This means giving Him our financial life too.
There is a lot of reason to not talk about giving. Finances are personal, and many of us don't want anyone else telling us what to do with our money. But if Jesus really is who He says He is, then we ought to listen to what He says in Scripture about giving.

Giving generously shows what we treasure.
Giving may be difficult to begin, but start small. Pray and ask God how He wants you to give. Maybe try to commit to giving a percentage of your income regularly. Over time, you may increase that as you find joy in giving your money away.
