A New Identity

How do you feel that things are broken in the world? How do you sense things are broken in you? 

When you feel brokenness inside you, how do you try to fix it? How do you try to make yourself feel "right"?

Jesus is the only one who can make you truly right. He justifies you by grace alone because he took your sin to the cross and paid the price you could never pay. Now, God you are justified - God sees you as "right" in His eyes! This new identity is a free gift. 

But the identity also means you have a new motivation. You don't have to live for love or acceptance. You can live from God's love and acceptance. 

Jesus doesn't only give you an identity and leave you there - he now becomes the source for your new life! Galatians 2:20 says, "It's no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me."
